Chick-Fil-A (Scheduled for November 17) from 4-7pm. Their marketing team suggested having 1-2 Teacher staff members present to refill drinks or make ordered milkshakes. The kids think it's fun to see them in that environment and usually draws in a bigger crowd.
Teacher Request:
Mrs. Bishop requested to attend a school counselor conference in Indianapolis. Cost is $145. Approved.
Teacher Stipends: $150/teacher. Approved.
Additional Teacher Stipends: $75 for 11 teachers
Two teachers requested some wish list items be covered since they used most of their (611) money to pay for a supplemental Social Studies Subscription. The cost varied by teacher, but averaged $150. We found that 11 teachers did this and PTO approved an additional stipend of $75 for those teachers.
Additional Information:
We approved a lot of outgoing money this meeting. Our goal is to make sure the 5th grade field trip is paid for at the end of the year.
